Ahmed Al-Nuwaisir, Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Riyadh Airlines, expressed his pleasure at participating for the first time in the Paris International Air Show. During his talk on the “Nashrat Al-Nahar” program, which is broadcast on the “Al-Ekhbariya” satellite channel, he stated that Riyadh Airlines receives employment applications exceeding 300,000 applicants.

He also referred to Riyadh Air's participation in the 54th session of the Paris Air Show, which was held in the French capital, Paris, where the company's logo was displayed for the first time.

The company's CEO, Tony Douglas, reiterated that Riyadh Air will begin operations in 2025, noting that he expects to begin detailing network plans next year.

He said during a press conference in Paris, on the sidelines of the Paris Air Show, which began today: “It is likely that we will reach the first quarter of 2024, where we will begin to approach the ticket window for wide-body aircraft.”

He continued: “The company has a delivery schedule with Boeing, where delivery of the 787-9 begins in 2025.”

The head of Riyadh  Airlines  pledged that the emerging Saudi company would be commercially and environmentally sustainable, and warned that airlines that  ignore climate-related concerns will not succeed.

Douglas ruled out announcing new aircraft orders during the Paris Air Show this week.
